4  Document Conventions

This manual uses the following conventions to highlight important information:

WARNING

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in death or serious injury.

CAUTION

Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury, or damage to the product.

IMPORTANT

Indicates information that is important for proper operation or to prevent damage to the product.

NOTE

Provides additional helpful information or tips.

Bold text is used for menu items, buttons, and important terms.

Monospace text is used for technical values, commands, and code.
