10 Potential Hazards
Eye Exposure Hazard
Although Class 2 lasers are generally considered safe due to the human blink reflex, staring directly into the beam can cause eye discomfort or temporary vision effects. Always avoid looking directly at the laser beam or aperture.
Specular Reflections
Highly reflective surfaces (mirrors, polished metal, glass) can redirect the laser beam. Be aware of reflective surfaces in the operating environment and position the device to avoid unintended reflections toward personnel.
